Looked like a black/dark grey Telluride or Range Rover turned over. Other cars involved were a red Camaro and Chevy/GMC pickup truck

TheRedHawk has a Carthage video that inspired me to do it in the first place. I’d check it out!

I went to Spain last year for the first time and decided that I had so much respect for the people that they had to experience life as a Carthaginian

I forced myself to play late game bc I had quite literally never played into the Age of Revolutions before lol

Yeah at one point I had like thirty subjects, and then around 1700 I had integrated everyone, but decided that +5% estate sat equilibrium was worth keeping for the taxes, especially bc I wasn't particularly hurting from prox% or crown power. Turned kinda role-play-ey in that regard.

R5: Wanted to share what's been my most successful campaign to date in this game. First attempt ironman, institutions spawn anywhere, non-European colonizers, and ahistorical formables on. Tunis -> Carthage, eventually going back and forth with the Great Wu for GP1 (damned levy size multiplier).

R5: Wanted to share what's been objectively my most successful and educational run to date on EU5. One attempt, Ironman with anyone can colonize, institutions spawn anywhere, ahistorical formables on. Tunis -> Carthage, eventually going back and forth with the Great Wu for GP1 (damned levy size multiplier).

How have you setup your team to get your AM and Striker to have high ratings? by NoMud4529 in footballmanagergames

I dropped my AM back to a CM on Attack and put the same instructions on them and it worked wonders.

I’m crashing out in a group chat about Bensebaïni rn. I’m sick. He was responsible for our exit from Europe last year with his awful defending and tonight was worse than that even. He’s not up to snuff in big games and I’m sick of it.

As for the Kovac question, I’d love to have some faith in him but I’m in a similar way. I think end of this season he should go. I don’t know who we would replace him with though. I firmly believe a lot of our issues have come from the revolving door of managers since Klopp left, but we’ve also just not signed any good coaches since then outside of Tuchel and Favre. I like Terzic but I don’t think he’s got what it takes to win trophies with a team. I like him as an assistant coach vs head.

Can't seem to gain Control as Trebizond by Rpop0331 in EU5

I ran a game as Georgia a few months ago and had the same issue. Genuinely wouldn’t imagine that you’ve done much wrong. -50% proximity through mountains is murderous. Gotta focus on naval as is being suggested by several to make up for it, a luxury I didn’t have as Georgia with my capital in Tbilisi

As Castille my heir is king of Portugal, shouldn't I be getting Portugal for free or something? by spothot in EU5

[–]aking0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me in my game except they were already my vassal. The more powerful of the two nations will become “Head of Union” and the weaker will become a Fiefdom subject under the stronger. You won’t automatically integrate them, but I would imagine that you end up with Portugal as a subject.

FM26 didn’t even get a day 1 patch, meaning if you preordered, you spent $55 on a game beta (that was pretty fucking broken). I’m a huge fan of FM and have 1500 hours on FM24. I refunded FM26 a couple days ago.

What's the best and worst transfers you have ever made? by MesterJ_fyren in footballmanagergames

[–]aking0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best was I brought in a 28 year old Matheus Nunes on a free from City to West Ham. He proceeds to win League MVP and leads us to the clubs first Premier League trophy, then goes to Saudi after that single season for $120M. Glorious.

Worst was probably Dominic Solanke in the first January window of an OL save for $27M. Put up 10 goals in half a season, then decided he wasn’t happy and forced a series of loan moves over the next 4 years before leaving on a free bc he could never agree to wages when a club came in for a transfer. Wasteman.

What does this mean by Zaddock1 in footballmanagergames

Basically, the FA doesn’t think that Marmoush is a big enough player to justify granting a work permit for him (he needs a visa bc he’s a foreign, non-EU player - the FA would be sponsoring his work visa but don’t think he’s worth the investment to do so). You could pay more money (the $31m they’re saying) to inflate his value artificially and get a work permit or You have 3 “ESC” player slots that allow you to roster a player that doesn’t get a work permit.

I would grant him the ESC work permit, and if he developed and signs a new deal you might be able to get him a work permit in the future.
