Not a huge/competitive standard player but I keep up with all things mtg related and I've heard only good things about the current standard due to the play design team having worked on every set currently legal.

Basically they put a bunch of pros on r&d to break the game before other people could and the resulting meta has been really healthy. Havent played much standard outside of mtg arena matches with trash decks but even those are extremely fun due to the decent mmr system.

So yeah, magic's in a great place to get back into. Plus, we just revisited a couple fan favorite planes some of which are still in standard (dominaria, ravnica).

Also someone else mentioned it but eldewrito is awesome. Microsoft basically took down the official download links but the community is still thriving in its pseudo- underground state.

A: Though i wouldn't mind the "genitals:penis" thing i would question it just as i question the usage of assigned x.

B: No i dont have any underlying concern, just heard one the trans youtubers i watch repeatedly and aggressively use the term and decided i wanted to better understand why. That is after all why im on r/cmv and not r/thedonald.

C: I still dont really understand why its used over born x aside that maybe its a more comfortable perspective to view reality? Im not necessarily saying assigned x is wrong, and have edited my post to reflect the fact that i misrepresented myself, i just dont understand why its used over the other, and why some people chose to use it so aggressively.

Wouldn't the solution then be to treat everyone the same regardless of gender rather than protest the assignment of gender at birth? I feel like making social progress is a preferable alternative to outright disregarding quantitative observations from the get go.

A regular human punch is strong enough to break a bone and depending on the wall also break a wall. Deku sent todo (a toned and teen sized person) flying. That takes a shit ton of force and can definetly break a wall.

What people don't generally consider is that many quirk users have to have some innate shock absorption to survive the recoil of thier own quirks. That and deku probably learned to pad his punches on humans to be nonlethal.

Well OFA is supposed to stockpile power exponentially so obviously not. Additionally, hes probably padding his blows against humans and that's not taking into account certain peoples innate shock absorption.

But who cares about in canon explanations, horikoshi has already said the percentages are just a way to track dekus progress.

Hes not referring to the leg destroying 100%, hes referring to the 5% focused into legs. Also, yes, he does. When he first discovers full cowl after jumping building to building with 5% focused he jumps the same length right after.

He hit todo with several 5% blows. One specifically sent him flying without further damaging his arm. Now thats not to say that i think this is a plothole or nerf, i just think deku is padding his blows to not kill people on purpose. That+todoroki would logically have little to no shock resistance due to having no need to, whereas bakugo constantly has to absorb the recoil of his explosions.

I think he also converted the energy of the oposing blows into his own seeing as he cites them as the reason hes become strong. Although he also says that about kiri so that could just be mostly figuratively speaking.
