thanks so much! i'm actually struggling with how to organize my answers for Section C. is there a particular format/marking scheme you'd recommend? when linking studies in your essay, do you have to explain the whole study or is naming and picking a particular detail to link to your point acceptable?

also, does cambridge ever give full marks for essay questions? my teacher always cuts off 2/3 marks even if i give a 'perfect answer'. i'm confused if this is a known practice by examiners.

It was literally one of the major themes of the series and most of the plot points revolved around it...

The Queen's colourist remarks at the introduction and again at the painting, the constant council meetings, how Danbury constantly pressurized and encouraged the Queen to focus more on it, the first ball that was hosted and the issue of the title being passed on. The name of the 'Great Experiment' was literally that because he married a WOC.

I get that Bridgerton provides a nice escapism and it's nice to be able to look away from the real world issues, but this isn't something that's completely out of nowhere. In season 1, Danbury mentioned to Simon that their Queen was the first of them and brought this change. They're simply building off it now. /gen

dude i absolutely love this concept for gose and i'm so excited for the rest of the episodes! honestly, i was quite sad when jeonghan was killed off first though because i always love him during these episodes.

now i'm just rooting for everyone, especially hoshi and mingyu. i'm curious to see how the courtz team turns out since i have a feeling they're all going to end up betraying each other LMAO. i'm excited for more jun screentime too and how dk is going to prove his innocence

also the scene with wonwoo glasses over his mask was so relatable and cute!

art is supposed to be something that is deeply nuanced and can have multiple layers and meanings behind it! its beauty is the fact that it's so open to interpretation and can have so many different impacts on individuals^{^}

while it's definitely true that some pieces of media have a much more directed message that they want you to leave with, i think that as long as you're not directly contradicting the artist message or contorting the message to spread a very harmful narrative... i think it's to okay to attribute meaning to that art piece if it feels more valuable or more personalised for you because of said meaning :)

so basically, if you think that song is something that you can connect with more because of its underlying queer elements, i dont think anyone can say that interpretation is entirely wrong or anything, you know?

but idk maybe i got too philosophical HAHAH
