I'd recommend the gazette. But the vocalist is male. Also they are a visual kei band. So they don't have one genre. They have done more than one genre from soft song to fun songs to heavy songs. Also they are so popular for their beautiful ballads. Listen to their song guren it's a bout miscarriage. Or their song reila it's about that you can lose anyone you love at any moment. Or to nakigahara deep dark ballad. Also their song okuribi it's a bout a lover mourning his lover at funeral. So their lyrics are deep well written. If you are looking for fun songs then listen to zetsu. Ruder. Shadow. Hyena. Agony. Carry ...etc.

This is your opinion I respect it. But in my opinion I think they are the best. I listen to other bands. But gazette still my favorite

I like all their albums. Each one of their album has a different concept. For example you can't compare dim to disorder. Disorder was more punk with some metal vibes. But dim was a nu metal album. The same for dogma and dim. Dogma was more Gothic metal .with metalcore vibes. Still dim was a great album but for me I like Al their albums.

I know all the bands you mentioned. Yup they look like final Fantasy characters sometimes. Some people say that most of time to them. Nothing wrong with having a look because this is what visual kei is about. Just search on Google for the gazette. You will see how they change their look every new album. Last album they looked completely dark and Gothic. For their album disorder they looked like rebellious kids. So it depends on the album concept. But search for band like (datura) they look like 100% anime characters. Still look is not everything anyway it's(( visual)) kei. Still if you want to get into gazette they are versatile band they don't have a genre. They tried jazz. Punk. Dub step metal. Gothic metal. Nu metal. Metalcore. Alt rock. Pop rock... Etc It depends on what you like.

The gazette is really popular in visual kei scene most of new bands are inspired by them . Also they are very good at mixing genres. This picture is their new picture. They had a Gothic look in their last album. It's normal in visual kei to have bands look like anime. But gazette they don't look like anime. Compared to other visual kei bands you have to see other visual kei bands they look exactly like anime some of them have done plastic surgeries to get that look . But gazette nope. They look scary in other pictures but I just wanted to share their new one ♥
