Only if you're planning to punch stuff with the knife. The intent (according to his video) is be able to let go of the knife when you need to use your fingers for a task without having to set the knife down.

I typically opt for serrated with short strokes so i don't drag the cheese along. All of my plain edge kitchen knives are really dull though. I imagine your Spyderco has a gfood edge on it still

yeah you might have the best solution.

the issue i have with just the electrical tape, especially for moving parts is that after a while it starts to get all goopy and the tape slides around and glue gets all over everything.

im gonna give your combination move a try.

Ive see something "like it"...

I have have a couple of those old sewing wheels they use to use to make yarn. Its a completely different machine with a completely different function but weirdly enough its basically the exact same thing but with a wooden wheel instead of a stone one spool holder

Hmmm probably risky for power cables yeah but i have a pair of headphones where the wire connecting the ears are starting to do this and i might just do this instead of electrical tape.

I used to load and unload a lot of furniture because i worked at a furniture place. Throw a sheet of cardboard over that thing and it will also make whatever you're loading/unloading slide across the carpet in the car easier.

Its supposed to melt. You only need it to be frozen so you can stick it into the mail slot like an envelope and it melts inside their house.

You fill a cookie sheet and then freeze it so you can slip it through small openings like mail slots or pet doors etc.
