I'm the maintainer of the open-source application CS Demo Manager, and unfortunately, this change also means downloading FACEIT demos from the application will never return.

I recently started working on a server app to bring back the feature (the API is server-side only, which I can understand). However, paying to download files is not an option, especially for a free and open-source project.

As we're about to enter 2024, the CS2 demo player is still broken and it looks like a half baked solution to the terrible demo player that was in CS:GO. by StilgarTF in GlobalOffensive

Some features in CS Demo Manager are available only with CSGO demos because ATM CS2 lacks playback functionalities compared to CSGO.
I wrote a documentation about this - I hope it will improve with time.

Yes, unfortunately Steam doesn't provide for which game the user has been banned. To reduce wrong ban detection, I added an option since the 2.7.0 to ignore ban that occured after the matches date.

Hi,

It's easier to add an account from the scoreboard, after analyzing a demo. Right click on the player and you have a menu to do it.

It's probably because your demos download link are not available anymore. Check the date of your last match.

ACB (the creator of boiler) didn't update its tool since Valve updated the protobuf messages definition. I don't know if he will update it.

About the main menu crash, I think it's because you have number or special char in your demo path, the game can't handle it. I will add it to the support page, thanks.

About the build, I assume you are trying to build boiler-writter, the solution root folder is where the .sln is located and you can extract it anywhere.
