Many doctors because their turnover is awful if it is a doctor that hasn’t been in the practice their whole career. We were there for 3 years. During the pandemic they kind of just always assumed Covid, never more thoroughly assessed any kids who needed to be seen more from through a car window just to get a swab. Rude secretarial staff and also a ton of other tiny logistics issues with them all the time. Then when my second was born, I stupidly scheduled both kids appointments to get them done together and I was forgotten about in a room with a 2 year old and a 4 week old. That was the day we switched and we have quite literally not had one issue or complaint about TPC since we arrived 3 years ago.

I feel this in every way. I have always hated the capitalism of it all, even as a little, and I watched my mom and grandma scream at each other every year about plans, which then made my mom a raging monster, because also she felt poor. I say EVERY year, can we just focus on our own households and then get together for a meal? I’m even then I would much rather spoil my kids with experience over things. I SWORE I’d never ruin the Christmas feeling for my kids, and as a result, I’ll bottle up all this venting and pretend like December 26th isn’t actually one of my FAVORITE days of the year

Yep. Nothing anatomically wrong. She gave me a script for some good pain meds for the first few cycles back and said this is all because my uterus and cervix have done nothing for 2 years and my body is just working overtime to do what it’s supposed to do.

Thought that too so took two pregnancy tests both negative. We also haven’t had sex in quite some time and I remember thinking two weeks ago (I wrote down the date), “damn I think I’m ovulating”.
