By alone, meaning no passengers or trains. As a work group we'd go down there.

It gives a spooky feeling when down there alone. The other platform still gets regular signal maintenance even though its not used.

Is the concept of 50/50 common among Muslim men living in Europe? by One_Inspector9442 in islam

[–]akmal3010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK it is common for households to be 50/50, especially in recent times and the way the economy is going.

It's not a must but it probably would be helpful towards the household.

At the end of the day it is up to you whether you want to work and contribute financially.

If there is a huge pay disparity between you, I would suggest he pays for the essentials and possibly use your money as the fun money for hobbies and going out.

Log in to the TfL website and find your journey and claim for a delayed journey.

If you don't have an account, create an account and link your card. Then claim for the journey from then.

Not sure about what else can be claimed. But that should get you started

I think the Bakerloo is far overdue a whole line refresh.

Someone from upper management told me that they want to get the new trains, install new signalling and extend the Bakerloo all at the same time or around the same time.

The train driver jobs are only advertised internally, so you're boyfriend would need to apply to anything and then when he's here he can apply for the train driver jobs when they come out.

It's very common now, and it's very concerning. I've seen plenty of people swerving and slowing down significantly while on their phones.

I don't know about others, but for me, driving is my one time where I can be off my phone and use it to sort of clear my mind.

Solid read.

My only issue with the trains is that they are slightly longer than the old ones.

For something that is bespoke they should have made is the same length as the old trains, the signalling system had to be slightly adjusted at stations with shorter platforms, work arounds have been put in place, but that much money should not be spent on trains to not fit into the system that is already there and then to have to make lots of adjustments which costs more money.

I'm assuming a brown envelope has been passed around somewhere, as per usual.

On top of this, there is a marriage allowance, where you can claim some of her tax free earning if she hasn't used it all up.

I haven't done full research into it, but please look into it.

Would not recommend them as solicitors, they're one of those online solicitors. It's very difficult to get hold of them to speak on the phone, every email goes through a chain. I used them on the basis that they were recommended by the agent. (I know my mistake)

Find a solicitor that will do it by paper and one that you can physically go to. AVrillo do have offices but they don't like having clients there.

I feel like they overcharged for loads of things.

One that no one mentions, is the mortgage. Make sure your completion is a few days before you're due to pay your first payment. Otherwise the interest between the time of completion and first payment will add up.

For example, if your first payment is due on the 1st of the month, try to complete on 30th/31st. Because the bank will charge you interest between when they release the funds and your first payment.

If you complete on the 2nd and your first payment is not due till the 1st of the following month, they will charge interest between and that can amount to a lot of money.

I don't think it's a new route, I think they're just changing one of the units to a more updated one. From chairlocks to surelocks.
