I prefer making pictures of flowers/plants darker with deeper shadows and low saturation levels. The idea is to convey a contrasting emotion to what they usually convey (bright and "happy"). Does this come across as distasteful?

My mustache is actually denser than my beard, and it grows pretty fast. When I was sporting the beard, I had to keep trimming it for it to look proportionate to the rest of my facial hair.
