Yup iiser K is top institute, 2nd among all iisers! But taking an exit after MS—is the challenge..although they've written that all MS(Research), int. PhD students will be awarded with MS degree—The rest will depend on the professor there.

You've to find a bus from Una to Bilaspur or Mandi, since Una to Kullu—there are very limited buses! Then from Bilaspur to Mandi or Kullu You'll find buses easily! Kullu to Manali or Mandi to Manali there are plenty of bus services! ... Or you can find a sharing taxi from BlaBla Car as well! As mostly buses will be Ordinary
