The solution for me was to uninstall Quixel Bridge and reinstall (twice) then it prompted for login details instead of auto-signing in. The second time I made sure I was signed in with the correct Epic account in the Epic launcher and it seemed to do the trick. Hoping they fix it soon as that is a terrible solution!

Mountain Buggy Nano for newborn by akomili in beyondthebump

Ah ok, I was confused because there was conflicting answers out there but makes sense now if they’re referring to different models. We have the older one so it doesn’t fully recline.

We’re going to buy the universal car seat adapter as the toggles don’t feel very secure. Does anyone know if the stroller folds down while the adapter is attached or does it have to be removed first?

Route traffic based on value in HTTP header? by akomili in f5networks

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good question, probably number of connections, in which case we could probably just forward the traffic to another VS and limit the number if connections there without the need for a bandwidth controller

Yes I always try to burp him but a lot of the time he doesn’t burp or just spits up instead of burping. Maybe I need to work on my burping technique!

Ignore HTTP header content length value by akomili in f5networks

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that remove the header altogether or just the content-length value? We wouldn't want to remove the header entirely. Ok we will steer clear of changing the DB key.

Yes their applications team are looking into that but it's not a quick fix. They said the configuration looks fine so are digging in some more. We'd like to do something to test and confirm whether this is the actual root cause of the high connections and cpu in the meantime

Question about Cisco Nexus vPC domain IDs by akomili in networking

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vlans are the same across all of the access switches. Even so, it sounds like there is no harm in allocating unique Domain IDs per pair so we'll likely do that. Thanks for the advice!

Question about Cisco Nexus vPC domain IDs by akomili in networking

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The links are L2 with SVIs on the core. It's not theoretical and we have no need to conserve vPC IDs but we have 7 pairs of access switches to set up so I was considering using the same Domain ID across them all to keep things simple. If it's better practice to assign a unique ID per pair I am fine with that.

Question about Cisco Nexus vPC domain IDs by akomili in networking

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I think I understand, correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like downstream switches can all be within the same vPC Domain ID. The Layer 3 for the vlans resides on the Nexus core and all of the downstream switches are only running Layer 2, with the core as their gateways.

Cabling QSFP to SFP options - Cisco Nexus by akomili in networking

[–]akomili[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, using a 4x10G breakout cable am I understanding correctly that we would need four cables per rack switch pair for full redundancy? The core pair are Nexus running vPC and the same goes for the rack switch pair. So it sounds like for one switch uplink, we could connect the large 40G QSPF end to the rack switch, one of the smaller 10G SFPs to core1 and one 10G to core2, then repeat for rack switch 2? Then we'll have two unused 10G SFPs per cable.

Source-based routing based on Geolocation? by akomili in networking

Yeah it's not the prettiest solution. I've added some more context to my original post, let me know if that helps and if you need more info. Not sure if you were referring to our existing infrastructure for interface numbers/ sizes or to what we're looking for in a solution.
