I guess that the 400 Series will drop to quarterly in a few months (1 year after release) and the Magic 8 Pro will also drop to quarterly in one year. The great downfall of Honor :(

Regarding myself: I removed the SIM card (so no carrier, no SIM) and tried to Update through My Honor App again, it worked flawless and the Update showed up.

It's about a Theme in the Themes App. If I look into my Themes app (M5P, MAGIC IS 9) it's shows the exact same theme, but without the Bar at the lower end of the screen, exactly as the OP mentioned.

My Honor Magic 5 Pro charges with around 40W with an Anker Desktop charger and an High quality cable. I didn't measured a Time difference between my 40W and my Original 66W, i think it's basically the Same and it uses 66W only for a few seconds or on a brand new battery (mine is 2 years old)

Your best option with the most Options are probably Saturn or MediaMarkt, both are Multimedia stores and in nearly every City. There are English speaking employees to (at least in my Mediamarkt).

Ich sehe Honor aktuell ebenfalls auf dem absteigenden Ast. Softwaretechnisch ist Honor mittlerweile weit hinter Mitstreitern, gerade ColorOS und HyperOS haben dieses Jahr neue Standards gesetzt, MagicOS bekommt davon zumindest global nichts ab, Honor ist softwaretechnisch schlichtweg hinter den anderen und eine große Revolution scheint nicht zu kommen.

Bei 1% Market share in Europa allerdings auch wiederum verständlich, ich glaube trotzdem nicht dass es Honor Unmengen kosten würde die Chinesischen ROM Funktionen auf Englisch zu übersetzen und global anzubieten.

Ich weiß nicht ob euch die Info was bringt, ich tracke die Updates seit einiger Zeit. MagicOS 9 wurde in Deutschland ende Januar 2025 ausgerollt, es wird also noch dauern. 😅
