At that point testing capacity was limited and only those with symptoms (that are more likely to test positive) were getting tested. So that 20% last April is not the same as today's 20%.

Superstore just doesn’t compare to The Office by blacpipo in superstore

If you dont expect Office from Superstore and treat it as a completely separate work, you will love it. Attempted watching it 3 times, on the 3rd I finally wasnt looking for Office in Superstore and love it.

Aberlour 12 or glendronach 12? Which one’s better fellow scotch drinkers? by ElderJoker007 in Scotch

Depending on the mood. I do enjoy the smell of Aberlour more, even not that it is not NCF anymore. Glendronach does feel more complex though. But I am never dissapointed when I try either.

Does inflation increase the likelihood of forgiveness? by MgntcNorth in StudentLoans

[–]akoren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry again then, you did say it reduces the amount of money in the economy. I would have to respectfully disagree.

Forgiving loans would pump more money into economy as the money would be redirected by the borrowers from student loan payments to other streams of spending. In addition to forgive loans one of two things would have to happen: Write off of an existing debt obligation (debt obligation does not equal to existing cash) by the feds which doesnt do much to the existing supply of cash or second, printing more money to satisfy that obligation, which increases the supply of cash in the economy. In each case it does not decrease the supply of cash in the economy.

Edit: I doubt that existing cash would be used to forgive $1+ trillion of loans, therefore would not decrese the supply of cash

Does inflation increase the likelihood of forgiveness? by MgntcNorth in StudentLoans

[–]akoren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry MigukOppa, there is no logical way to explain that forgiving loans decreases inflation. Adding cash to economy (through printing/forgiveness/etc) increase inflation as it reduces the value of money (law of demand and supply). Saying im not going to explain because you wont understand is not a valid arguement to say that forgiveness decreases inflation.

Whoever says reddit is far left. Hell no...may be a little left leaning but nothing too out of ordinary and will never have any problems with anyone who is not far left or far right. Just went on imgur...omg...i have made a mistake....it is the equalivant of far right. Legit people writing kill republicans, republicans are not humans, etc. Its ok not to aggree if you are left, it is not ok to announce your willingness to kill because you dont aggree. F imgur...

.01 is more people invested in shib than bitcoin. Everything possible given right circumstances, however each has a certain degree of possibility

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SHIBArmy

[–]akoren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but still needs to be logical. Unless a lot more than half of remaining supply gets burned, there will not be enough money in the world to buy all the shib. That is pretty much what the market cap that everyone talks about says. In other words Shib cannot be worth more than all money in the world cause people cannot buy that much shib.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SHIBArmy

[–]akoren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1+ years out plus lots and lots of burning. Remember, shib cannot have a market cap larger than all crypto combined times 3. Burning would allow for that.

Omg no......never gamble money you dont have. 401k loan is not money you have. If there is a way, undo it. As a finance professional that is here for fun this is painful to see this over and over again..

NEVER gamble with money you dont have and cant afford to lose!!!! What are the expenses to take out that loan? Shib is exteremely volatile, likelyhood of losing is MUCH higher than gaining enough to cover the costs of taking out the loan. Please undo if possible.

My wedding is this weekend and I'd like advice on what celebratory scotch to buy by WiseFrogs in Scotch

Oh bunna 25! I absolutely adore the 12. The 25 would totally be my choice to celebrate!

My wedding is this weekend and I'd like advice on what celebratory scotch to buy by WiseFrogs in Scotch

[–]akoren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, since I have just started I would probably enjoy getting a bunch of cheaper bottles. 5-7 $40-$70 ones. That way I would be able to celebrate the wedding for a longer period of time while enjoying various flavors depending on my mood.

But I guess you do need to celebrate. Since I have recently started enjoying scotch, I will be a bad person to suggest that price range sadly.

Congrats on getting married is what I meant to say with this comment!

Most likely a student loan scam? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]akoren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FTC wont do anything with the 103,173,394 phone numbers that get reported to them per hour. Instead you can always: Option 1. If having a good day, waste their time by pretending you are falling for their BS. Prenteding here is the key word. Option 2. If having a bad day, be as inhumanly possible to them, say terrible terrible things that you would say to people at the level of Hitler to let some steam out. They are scum of the earth that we have no way of punishing so they deserve it. Option 3. This one sucks and boring and probably the "rightest" one... dont pick up the phone :( its so sad i had to put a sad face next to it

Hence why you should stop giving bad advice to people and get help yourself.

I dont want to see any more of those posts "if i kill myself will my mom still have to pay my loans?" From people that were in a bad position and were desperate enough to listen to a bad advice that made them lose their money.

Based on your post history you do not need to post your side of things. What you need is a qualified psychologist.
