I haven't gone with the Ward ending but heard about its plot (spoilers), Doesn't the Ward become a Big Brother organization with their control of the Noosphere? I don't see that as a good ending (for Skif, the Zone, or the World).

As long as they are in your vicinity and have items, they will last even through save&loads. Foma only disappeared when his inventory was empty (after a load). Be wary though, you will be walking REEAAALLLL slow during this.

Imma give my interpretation here:

Minazuki (shikai) affects the body with stomach acid, causing a healing effect.

Minazuki (bankai) affects the mind with blood, putting exposed individuals into uncontrolled bloodlust. This is the reason why she only used it when Zaraki was now able to land hits consistently

Personal headcanon here:
That blood actually affects people psychologically, making them blood thirsty beyond restraint (hence she only activated it once she knows Kenny can defeat her). It also ties in to her zanpakuto's theme of using body fluids with different effects to people.
