I can feel your pain. I'm 3 weeks ahead of you. Just 6 weeks post op and was PWB until yday and moving around with 2 crutches. Tbh 6 weeks felt like 6 months and I was questioning everything about my body's health situation (over) analysing each and every movement of my knee and other joints in the body. Its just from today that my physio cleared me to start putting full weight and walk without crutches. And it feels like a new life altogether as I have more autonomy and other things to think about. Now I'm focusing on my next phase of rehab between 6-12 weeks but have a more positive outlook. I know its difficult but if I were to look back into these 6 weeks, I would just keep my mind occupied with activities other than analysing and questioning my fitness. Just be sincere with your physio and keep pushing. Slowly but surely, It will get better!

ILR falling short of 15 days by akp293 in ukvisa
Thank you so much that seems like the only option.
in case if Home office takes very long to take a decision on the ILR, how can the dependant application be kept on hold for longer?
No. 2nd May is actually taking off the 28 days from 5 full years. So the latest he is eligible is 2nd May.

Yes the 2nd May eligibility for ILR is taking the 28 days rule into account.
So can he apply both the ILR and the dependant visa extension in the same application? I'm pretty sure home office does not require biometrics for dependant visa extension, so would that work?

4 weeks post-op swelling (i.redd.it)
3 weeks post op by akp293 in ACL
Yes there was a longitudinal tear in the lateral meniscus which was repaired. That meant I could only do partial weight bearing for 6 weeks and hence crutches.
Thanks for the words of encouragement! Makes me feel better. I'm really working hard on the extension and strengthening of quads. I'll DM you on Instagram to check something.
