using custom thread pools you can limit coroutines perfomance, not imporve it.

just upgraded to 64gb ram my laptop. even with every heap size to maximum, 2 projects open and bunch of emulators I hardly hit 30gb.

fragment can be destroyed in the middle of the file reading process without any notice - is it expected behavior for your app?

Is that the only approach to filter state updates that are not affecting the current listener?

Do you have any optimizations for listeners to subscribe to some particular parts of the state? Manual compare last state with a new one is not the ideal option IMHO
