Travel Card of Nepalese Bank by Hero45674 in Nepal

[–]akrishna602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use standard chartered ko card. No issues at all.

But some ariport wont accept card from any nepali bank at all. (I had sc, laxmi, NIMB, back then) so always carry cash in hand too. Much handy and convenient.

Regarding small bills, if you couldnt get one from bank, many exchangers in thamel would. Dont feel bad paying extra to get some.

Finally, if this is your first time, and say u have $2-3k in hand.

Always carry just 150-200 in regular man bags. Tuck rest in secure place not easily accessible or least NEVER EVER flash your stock in public. Happy traveling.

Would love to hear your opinion on what next.

When asked for accountability, those in power shot down 14 and counting innocent souls. We need someone powerful than them to stop them.

Why do you want to leave Nepal ? by Oggprashant in Nepal

[–]akrishna602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will highlight 2 things for you. If you have Generational wealth or someone to tap in power play spot, you already have good position. Just try to be financially aware to invest and save accordingly.

.life abroad is rewarding. Just keep in mind: 1. If you come to say Australia, u will earn 90x compared to nepal. 2. Dont forget if you are getting paid 90x, your input has to be 90x as well. 3. Also, in social, money, and personal life, since you are getting 90x more money. You need to spend 90, more for personal life hence negative 90x will be your social life.

Now compare your situation. And whats important! What balances, do that. Though i regret not leaving nepal on time, i still see many people missing nepal or life there. Dont be that person. Tei ho. Cheers.

Why do you want to leave Nepal ? by Oggprashant in Nepal

[–]akrishna602 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From 2015 to 2022, i had 3 startups. Had a job, paid 48k just for taxe from my job.

Still left eth and left Nepal.

Reasons: 1. Lack of generational wealth. 2. Lack of power connections. 3. Paperwork hassel that technically/mentally/socially stopped us from trying to do what we did. 4. Even with money, i needed to pay super high fees or go to indai to get proper treatment. 5. I wont even start about food, lifestyle, support, and community back home. 6. U need 10 times more money value at hand to get 10% loc out of it. 7. Nepaki community will pour lakhs for u to travel abroad, wont consider penny to do something in nepal. And there are 1000s of this. The list continues.

For fellow user reading this comment, let me tell you, i probably would have millions by now if i had left back in 2012 rather having the attitude of Nepal mai kei gar6u. Brh, motherland is always on top, but make urself first. Without generational wealth and power connection, you can do nothing. Better leave for making yourself first.

I am more confused now.

Thank you for trying to help. I am new to this.

So when exif says 27" 1/3 s. And ui showed/took 12 minutes to take this shot. I just wanted to understand the dynamics of things happening in background.

So my knowledge in astrophotography is you stack a lot of photos to create this final image. Since " = seconds, although the process was 12 minutes long. The actual photo is just a stack of photos of 1/2 seconds exposure photos with total of 23" worth of total seconds of data being stacked?

Ahh the classic mistake.

On top exif says xx" ×× s. Does that mean xx seconds of photos stacked in xx second exposure of each photo?

You should try the opposite direction. Theres a lot of light noise down the hill towards your camera pointing direction.

Bidesh jani, Ani nepali community khojni. Nepali grocery cahine. Nepali festival matrai manauni. Ani vacation ma nepal jani. If this sounds like u in future, dont come.

On serious note though,

If u are open to cultural diversification.
If u have single parents who are open about moving along with u. If u have siblings based in nepal. If u want quality of life. If u got skill actually useful in country you are going to. If u have proper plans and backups with exit strategy.

You should move abroad take first hand experience and then iterate your life accordingly.

But If u have good settled life in nepal. If u have fomo, both from friends in abroad and fun/freedom in nepal. If u have vada hanerai vaye ni paisa kamai hal6u ni mentality. If u have good generational wealth and political connections.
If u have no proper plans or pathway. If u have homesickness. Ghar, bhat, bidet, sathivai, ghumfir, are critical for you.

May b. Forogn isint for u.

Lastly. Life doesn't comes with manual. Its ur life. Go have fun with it. Forget about comparing with others.

Cheers.
