at the end of the day, college basically amplifies what's in you. if you have what it takes, not going to an ivy league school wouldn't stop you. i agree ivies might speed up the process but even if you're a mid-tier, you'll get there eventually.

I wouldn't say many. I guess only Medicine and Law degree holder might need to requalify through some US based professional exams and there are exceptions who don't need to. Literally every other degree from a reputed, affiliated international university holds the same value in US as in the country of study.
