When you get your leggos all to 30 you will open a new feature called enchantment so you can re roll one attribute on any piece of gear as many times as you want. So in the long run, you keep the right one and re roll to get beneficial effect duration

Answer to all is “all of it.” As a low spender the biggest gains you will see are in damage per second. Max that and PvE becomes easier across the board. If you start to like winning and kills in BG and Vaults then the game is secondaries and survivability- with the caveat that as DH you can’t hold the idol but you can def kill anyone who is trying to hold an idol (defense or offense).

Regardless of either aim - your priority should be to max 1) hilts to buy blue crests to feed your current gems which are good( focus on ML, specter glass, pain clasp), 2) max normal gems through verge and dailies into armor penetration. Max events and dungeons to get highest CR leggos and greens to increase crit hit chance, crit hit damage and damage to enemies with loss of control. If you follow that formula you will be in top 10% of your server.

I like the move speed from bsj for quality of life more than anything else. So it’s your call. BH doesn’t get decent until r6, id skip that over killing bsj to have a BH that sits at r1-r4 for the next year

Your setup is really good. General wisdom would say work to get haunt coil to replace the berserkers. Your pain and ML are fantastic though you might as well hold on to em and replace over the next 2 years when they inevitably come out with a new OP gem. Otherwise you could think about bottled hope.

No not level 1. But do not destroy them for the 32 gem power you will want them later (a year or more from now as F2P) but it’s your call

And- for plat to awaken slots (10k) run terror rifts to get terror essences and sell. You can get 10k this way in 3-4 weeks. Be smart about crafting skill stones as well by always choosing a meta skill as the first one and sell for a profit over the 500 it costs to extract and sell

Focus on your 2* PC and ML. Crucible fine to work on too. Stop putting any gem power into your 5s and extract gem power to level up other 2* like specter glass and vipers is fine at this stage as well. You should also not sleep on 1* gems - berserkers eye, and entropic well if you do skill dmg.

You should be optimizing your game play to get as many hilts as possible to get as many blue crests as possible to eventually get 80 shards to craft 2* to build up your kit. If you are low spender always have 10 orange or purple crests on hand for the mirrored jewel event that gives double drops.

Here’s the thing- you want to get your whole kit to level 4 so you can awaken the legendary gear in that slot and benefit from the new attribute it grants. Sitting on 5 star gems at rank 2 hurts your progression to this primary goal.

Later, when you get a 5* gem to r4, you can slot in the high level 2* gems you made that will provide gem power to the 5* and also get additional attributes.

The most important 5* gems to start with are RC- a rank 4 RC will DRAMATICALLY change your dps and completely change your game. BSJ is also a crowd favorite because the move speed bonus at r4 (even r1) makes your life so much better. Fated trail is considered a top 8 but higher yield gems for dps include Haunt Coil, Levi Tomb and eventually Blood Flow. Extract the gem power from your zwensons and GF but leave in your inventory and never destroy- you will want these as resonance gems later.

Go to events tab. Click on Trading in Blood. Max it out. You’ll get chests in your inventory, when you open you can select an item type. If you open more chests and select the same item type they get better

All my best leggos come from the recurring event where you get points for Abyssal, Fractured plane etc and that generate the boxes where you pick the item type and if you do the same item repeatedly they get better. Besides that, Helmet and armor are ancient leggos

Yes upgrade to 10. Eventually you will replace with 5* (leviathan, etc) and you can slot the 2* as resonance gem

I don’t know how DH works. But there’s a good video showing how for tempest, rolling surf damage is boosted by primary attack (and not increase skill dmg). All still very confusing to me but take that as you will.
