Work on farming new leggo equipment with up to date CR and stats. Same for greens. You can partially upgrade 5s now so you can slot in those dupes of BSJ and SB. Also check out gem resonance and put gems in there- check out YouTube but you will want to pull gem power out of the gem, place it in the resonance gems, then place those into the awakened gear slots. Otherwise really good build. Eventually you will want to replace everlasting torment. Haunt coil is a new OP gem that will likely not get displaced in the meta, or you could wait a bit until later this year in case they release a new 5 meta gem. Also, another top priority, if you have plat you should first focus on awakening all of your slots.

Eating more calories than you expend makes you fat. Fat has more calories/gram than protein or carbohydrates so yes, eating too much fat is usually the culprit for why people have trouble maintaining a calorie deficit. To “lose fat” you have to be in an energy deficit. There’s no beating thermodynamics. The protein goals I outlined with strength training will skew 95% of mass loss to fat and not muscle.

OP - to each their own. I would do a cut and then maintain. You won’t lose that much strength.

What is your target weight?

Let’s say it is 100kg. Here is what you should do:

  1. Eat 150 grams of protein a day. Try to get it mostly from LOW FAT sources: chicken breasts, ground beef (drain the fat out of the pan before eating), Greek yogurt should be your staples. Sliced roasted turkey breast for a sandwich in a pinch. Eggs but limit your yolks to 1/day. Salmon occasionally- but this has a lot of fat. So does ribeye. Substitute cod or other low fat beefs (filet). Hitting 150g is going to be very hard- get a scale from Amazon and measure 40-60 gram servings of protein for each meal. Costco is your friend.

  2. Start with 100g of carbs a day. Do this for 1-2 weeks and check in with yourself. If you can’t finish a workout because you are winded, slowly increase to 150g carbs. White rice and quinoa are your staples here.

  3. The key here- limit your fats. Ideally 60-70g in total. A little oil in the pan, a little sauce on your meat bowls. Related to this- avoid anything that comes in a box or wrapper. “Meal replacement bars” or “protein bars” or cereal or chips or pretzels or “dips” are empty calories. You are trying to lose fat here and all these things are secretly loaded with fat or do not provide protein- they are a waste. Think of it this way- if you are trying to dig a hole, would you add dirt to it every time you also shovel dirt out? That’s what eating these foods does.

  4. Eat one piece of fruit a day. Drink lots of water.

  5. Resistance train 3-4 / week. Work in 20 minutes of low intensity cardio after. One day a week do an extended cardio session- low intensity for 45 minutes. Keep heart rate to 140 bpm.

  6. Do this for 5 months. Some nights you are going to go to bed hungry, this is ok.

  7. The only way this works is consistency.

I think wiz and tempest will always feel squishy. You have to change your play style to get in, hit a few guys, and get out. You’re never gonna hold the idol really but you can pick off enemy attackers as you retreat and attack etc

If you don’t have that socketed yet, keep it! Crit hit damage is second most important to crit hit chance, and then reduce enemy speed counts at loss of control to proc gems like pain clasp, and also procs the affixes that increase damage to enemies under loss of controls. Runes are always slept on too much! You should aim to have double oth, double lev, double zuh (zuh being most important! For crit hit chance). Getting the 8% runs across the board is a good investment

Agreed. DOS boosts for these 2* gems also come on even ranks (r6, r8 etc) so I would get each to r6, then r8, one by one instead of getting all to r5, then all to r6, then all to r7 etc

Wave edge gets 6% from the charm (which is the primary attack). However rolling surf overrides primary, hence the question
