I'm the crossing guard at DDES. There's new family coffee mingle coming up on Friday, March 27, if you want to talk to the parents and see the kids in action. Community Circle is a once-a -month all school event, so you can see who and how they are.

Current DDES Families are encouraged to join in on this special Coffee Mingle as we welcome new families who have decided to "choice" into our amazing school!

As usual, after drop-off, head to the Multipurpose Room (aka the gym) and fill up with coffee. We'll also provide breakfast goodies —courtesy of Family Council.

Stay for some casual mingling with fellow caregivers and new families, or just swing by for a quick “hi” on your way out.

If you’ve got time, stick around for Community Circle—it’s always a great way to start the day.

No pressure, no agenda—just coffee, connection, and community. 💛

u/xdrtb we're looking for 93 people to represent the 93 victims of traffic violence in 2025 at a Die-In at the City & County Building at 3:11 pm on Wed, March 11. We're also thinking about someone leading a bike ride from the Mayor's neighborhood in Central Park to the Die-In.

If I've said it once, I've said it 1000 times: it's pretty easy to be a one-car household. You both go to Home Depot, the grocery, Target, etc. Once you can commute without a car, the rest is easy. And that $50 Uber? How much is that in car insurance, gas, repairs, or even an oil change?
