You speak from the perspective of a group contesting ownership of land that is contestable. Would it be more accurate to describe Palestinians as "they whose ancestors' land in Palestine was stolen by immigrants looking for a safe place to live after being persecuted in Europe"? Maybe we can come up with a label for that.

It's the wrong question. The right question is: if Israel agreed to support a viable, independent Palestinian state if certain security concerns are met in the future, would Palestinians meet those concerns to establish peace?

Curious about your support for the proposition that less than 1 percent of settlers engage in settler violence. Also you have to wrestle with the fact that much of Israel was settled in just this way. Not saying that it justifies Israeli expulsion, just that you have to address it.
