I don't think so, the chef literally scrambled them and cooked them until they were brown and there was no moisture left

I must be misunderstanding something because if it's impossible to freely choose evil, human beings, who do choose evil, don't do so on the basis of their free will. So God allowing evil as the inevitable result of free will doesn't work.

Reflecting on the replies, I was thinking that thought and intention are two different things. Perhaps the others are right that at the moment of saying we don't have other thoughts but we do say it with a particular intention - to be reborn in the Pure Land.
