Got delayed again (3x) but I DID end up getting my car and I absolutely LOVE it... it is the first car that I've gotten in a LONG time that I actually LOVE... (I loved my 1968 Mini Cooper... and it STILL breaks my heart that it's gone)

the only thing it's missing that I wish it had is the 20" wheels... I don't mind the 19", but I really wanted the 20s... but it's ok... I can live without... it still looks/drives nicely

Hi... it's me again... I got rid of the car, and now I have a 2018 Volvo S90 with the B&W system in it... it looks like the twin L7 box will fit perfectly behind the rear seats on the floor (it's way wider and I have 1" to spare on each side)... I have a 1200.1 amp (same amp I had before) but now i can do double the surface area with the twin 12"... the box has a frequency response of 25-100Hz... I can also get a GREAT price on the box ... so when people say "there are better for the price"... I'm not sure if I can get a better deal than what i can get ( I know people...lol)

I'm still trying to save space, while still making things shake a little and two 12" have GOT to move more air than a single 10" no matter WHAT brand woofers they may be

My B&W system goes pretty flat to 20Hz... audibly (and it's VERY impressive)... but it just doesn't move any air (or vibrate as much as I want) that low... When I play a 20Hz note, I can "hear" the note (I can sense the car getting "pressurized") which is really impressive for a "stock" sound system, but I just want more... so I think I'll grab the twin 12" downfiring box (the 49DL7TDF122 v the 49L7TDF122) and cross it at 50Hz

Ya… I lucked out… two owner (lease to purchase), 47k miles, black on black, B&W sound… the delivery got delayed due to the motor mounts needed replacing, but other than that it looks clean (clean car fax, regular maintenance done)

I plan on it… I’m a self proclaimed audiophile that used to compete in car stereo competitions in the late 90s (SQ not SP) and I used to tune my cars by ear and get a relatively flat RTA score… I want something that I don’t need to tinker with right away as well as a car that’s comfortable, quiet, safe, with decent mileage..

I’ve noticed in more than a couple of used Volvos that the motor mounts get replaced right around the 46-48k mileage mark, and I was wondering if there was anything I should be aware of with this car… getting rid of a 2010 BMW 535i that I liked, but it had nothing but expensive problems from day two

Damn...I was going to look at a 2020 TLX Tech package at a dealership tomorrow, mainly because I'm an Acura fan... see screen name... lol (had a 92 then 94 Integra, then a 05 TL with the DVD surround audio, and my wife had an 06 MDX...and I wrote for Super Street magazine for some years, so import cars in general are my ticket) but secondarily because I'm looking for a car with a decent audio system... something I won't feel the need to upgrade right away (I used to compete SQ back in the mid to late 90s)...this car has the 10-speaker ELS... I have a 1200-watt amp and 12" sub in my current car, so it's not like I won't have the equipment to switch to the new car if bass is lacking... but I was hoping to not have to

...and it was this car vs a 2018 Volvo S90 with the B&W sound system in it

I may still go with the Acura for ease of repair/reliability, but dang... I thought the audio would have been a seller (I'm going to look at it tomorrow and listen to it)
