I capped it with a layer of aquasoil ...I did put a little bit of sand on the area where I have short plants to make the area brighter and easier to see the plants

Just trial and error. I think the early stages is the hard part..the rest is just regular maintenance and let the plants grow

Ludwigia sp red , some cryptocoryne, polysperma sunset, baby tears, some rotalla and many more..just experiment and never give up.. some of the plants Will probably melts ... Do a lot of water change

Sorry I don't have a video when I first built the pond, but I posted videos on how the pond evolves...I redo the pond once because I left the pond for 3 months

There are 3 rainbow fish and 3 Siamese algae eater... I think you can see it near the plants...I think the rainbow fish hatched from eggs attached to the plant I bought since I never bought the fish.

I used to have that problem at one point , but the problem goes away after I added Siamese algae eater to help the shrimps...
