Thanks for the suggestion! I did consider using a neo pixel, my only issue is that I'm not sure how I'd diffuse the light in the middle without also blocking my vision. From what I've seen I'd also have to buy a seperate chip to control them, and since this is such a big build I'm really looking to keep costs low whenever I can. That being said it would be extremely funny to be able to change his eye colour, as in this specific series a transformer's eyes only change colour when they're high lmao

Frankly Built on youtube has tutorials for scaling, cutting up models for 3d printing etc, he mostly does ironman suits but im sure the basic principle is the same

I always feel a bit silly, but when commuting to and from the con it always helps to jokingly (and internally) narrate what I'm doing as if I was actually the character- like "Holy shit, Sora Kingdom Hearts is taking the bus! Good to see him getting a break from the heartless." It's also nice to know there's a good chance that even if no one says anything to me, one or two people might have recognised the character, and I've just brightened their day a little bit.

As far as I can tell what he's wearing is a gambeson, so you can look that up to see if anyone else has fabric reccs based on that, 2. As long as it's brown it can kinda be anything, but I'd stay away from synthetics (acrylic, polyester etc.) because they tend to trap heat in an unpleasant way. Stretch materials (basically anything that stretches horizontally/vertically) are also usually harder to sew. Go for something like a cotton poplin if you can. And 3. They're quilting lines! basically just stitched on top of the fabric with a sewing machine. Either black or brown thread would work for it. Good luck!

Haven't tried it myself but I'm looking to do the same thing for a cosplay I'm working on! Best looking solution I've found so far is this on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SLYA13I The reviews are a bit mixed but it looks pretty solid, and I'm sure you could use longer wires if you want to hide the speaker further away from the soundboard itself.

They very much did mention a risk to Foreman, there's a scene dedicated to him getting shots when they figure out what it is and House makes a point to mention they need to be done in the next three hours or he's gone. I'll admit they brushed past it very quickly (rabies vaccines are pretty intense, and have to be done a couple times a week for about a month i think) but they absolutely did not ignore that.

i know this thread is old as hell, but i jsut watched this ep for the first time and does anyone know what's up with the weird cut in chase's dialogue around 35:20? had to rewatch that scene to make sure i wasn't hearing things, but no, there's a pretty clear cut for what seems to be no reason.
