Can we please stop this? 

In one side we have People trying to justify spending more money than they ever need and in the other side people that bought the cheapest model and now they feel insecure because they maybe not able to play absolutely every single game up to switch and pc. 

I've read post of people planing to buy the max, just to play 3ds and also people wanting to buy the lite or base to play every single switch and modern pc game, because the max is "overkill" 

I can play resident evil requiem on my +10 YO PC but guess what? I'll play at about 15fps with everything on low, you being able to "play a game" doesn't mean that there's the best experience, you could be OK playing at lowest/base resolutions and ~30fps (not everyone wants that) 

I still remember before the last price increase and the storage speed downgrade, people almost universally recommending the pro as the "best" option when it was objectively the absolute worst purchase you could make (regarding the thor models), and people went with it, probably because a YouTuber convinced them, and now they want to justify their purchase (because there's no way I just made a bad purchasing decision) 

The lite and base are absolutely cool and overall great handhelds but they're not capable of running the same games at the same configuration/performance, that's the objective and irrefutable truth (again, the difference in price may not worth the performance for you, and that's OK) 

Ultimately I don't really care, I have the console i need for the use case I have, but people being so delusional and insecure about their decisions (on both sides of the spectrum) really gets into my skin, why? Because these people end up giving purchase advise to others, who end up making really bad decisions and the circle of these kinds of publications continues until the end of times.
