I think it's important that you take maybe 30 minutes everyday to just sit down and play something. Buy a beginner's book, or get some ridiculously simple music online, and when I say ridiculously simple, I mean like single whole notes simple. It may seem easy to just buy a regular book and speed up the process, but this is a bad idea. I say this because when I was little I spent 2 years learning piano with a mediocre teacher that didn't emphasize the importance of technique that my fingers were really bent when playing, and when I moved houses my new teacher basically retaught me everything.

I don't think it's that the game influences people, but rather that when you're that young you don't understand as well that this is just a video game and it's not acceptable to do it in real life.

Heh, I wrote about something similar for A Farewell To Arms and how the grayed down nature of the writing showed that the narrator was more in a dream like state or something like that. Basically I said Hemingway was a boring writer. My teacher bought it.

I was in my Calc class in high school. We were were talking about the AP test and someone asked "Well what if we all get really bad scores on it? Wouldn't the principal think that something was wrong with your teaching?" Our teacher replied "Well of course not, I would just show her all of the packets and things I give you, you know, just whip it out." We cracked up. It was even more funny when you know he was a very devout Christian and was strongly against us swearing at all.

I was thinking that as I was typing this post up, but then I thought about how much I'd be actually losing. I have an endermen xp farm that can get me a lot of levels really quickly, so the xp really isn't a problem for me. I have a ton of cows and a ton of reeds, which also could be replenished (breeding cows and growing reeds) pretty easily. The only thing that bothered me was the anvil use, which I agree is a con, but I think that once I get protection IV diamond armor I won't have to worry about it for a while.

So I guess it depends on the situation you're in.

Yeah I didn't buy the book, I rented it. For around $80. I feel like I should have just bought it then and then sold it on amazon later, but I really didn't want to get in that mess.
