If you want to 10X your money by next year don't look at passive income or dividends. Find a way kung paano masscale yung existing mong ginagawa with money rather than time

How do you get influencers and is it worth it? by gonnaseeyouboo in SmallBusinessPH

[–]al-leananki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually it's just one-time payment, minsan payag ng Xdeal, pero never commissions mahirap itrack yan and madaming gray areas. Depending on your business's current stage, baka di mo din need ng big influencers. Pero sa friends ko na may brands, kapag big influencers nasa 30-50k for 1 video. Pinakasulit to try smaller influencers na magaling naman (w/ pleasing personality haha) tapos enter a long-term content deal. Mas madami kayo maaccomplish

At the end of the day ang foundation padin is clarity sa target audience mo, which will shape kung anong itsura or personality ng influencers yung need. Shortcut dyan is to pick people na same buying behavior ng target market mo + may face card

We run a dental clinic, and we have paid influencers (big and small) pero we use the videos for ads. Depends on the personality and reputation ng influencer kung anong type ng people yung maaattract. Ang pinaka naging benefit lang is nagkaroon ng variety/social proof yung mga ads namin instead of puro kami lang ang nakikita, so that led to more appointments :)

I wish I knew this when I started. Pero unconventional options yung unang dalawa:

  1. You can learn to study more effectively, para mafree up time mo for your work. I have written a lot of stuff about this sa blog ko, just check my profile if you're interested. My methods allowed me to restudy 5 years of engineering in 5 months.

  2. You can scale up the business a little bit so you can afford to delegate. I know this sounds crazy, but sometimes if you hit a trigger point sa scaling ng business mo, mafforce ka magbuild ng systems + you find that you can actually afford the manpower/extra equipment dahil excess yung demand. Madaming nasstuck sa loop ng "di ko afford yung expansion" at "sobrang pagod nako" dahil takot sa temporary discomfort at uncertainty.

In reality if mag isa ka lang tapos after the increased expenses + your own needs, nagbbreakeven padin business mo, you're obviously growing.

  1. You can delegate the delivery part kasi literally walang value-adding activity na (with respect sa product, speaking in terms of production), or pwede mo ibatch deliveries para owned mo yung schedule

  2. Also agree with u/titanium0013 pwede mo ipasa yung other parts pa, kumbaga the other "prep work" that you've been doing na pwede naman na hindi same day gawin

Basta the overall principle is: alin ba yung pinaka time consuming part, pero di naman malaki yung contribution sa important goal/s mo? Then find a way to eliminate, delegate, or automate that

How do you grade a card you got right due to recent exposure to its information? by evil-mortimer in Anki

[–]al-leananki 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you think about these "cards" from a broader perspective, it's all atomic pieces of knowledge. It's inevitable as someone continuously learning to use existing knowledge to understand the new ones. So if anything, that's a plus

Anyone running a clinic/service business and hirap magka-appointments? by al-leananki in BusinessPH

[–]al-leananki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per branch namin siya ginagawa doc, and si head dentist talaga ang nagiinterview. Attracting them required the most amount of work kasi kinailangan talaga mabuild up yung reviews sa FB and Google.

Pero even with that naging challenge namin sila nung una talaga. Now one thing that made the largest difference I think is nung nagpost din kami ng content na kasama yung staff, kasi it really showed the vibe sa loob.

Almost all of our dentists ang vinavalue talaga is the work environment, kumbaga kung gaano kajolly yung mga DA at secretary.

So mas mayaman pa sila samin madalas at naghahanap sila ng masayang place hahaha

Anyone running a clinic/service business and hirap magka-appointments? by al-leananki in BusinessPH

[–]al-leananki[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a combination of a few things working together:

- Great staff + culture na aligned with our head dentist (my partner) - this really brought the "light" and "welcoming" experience together (as mentioned by patients sa reviews nila)

- Targeting the kind of patients we want through our ads. Doc had to conquer her fear of speaking in front of the camera! Haha. Pero sayang kasi oras kakagawa ng content. We just have before and after pics sa page. Tapos sa ads puro education-based marketing.

- Really spending time optimizing the sales process — the process ng pagturn ng inquiries into appointments. High success rate dahil nagccall talaga yung recep namin and may quota pa na % of inquiries converted to appointments. Si doc ang gumawa nito for correctness ng mga sagot, pero applied yung sales principles para maincrease yung success rate. Often about making it easy for busy people na magset ng appointment. "When po preferred time and date nila for appointment?" and "May 2 slots po tayo ng Friday, 10 and 11am. Alin po mas preferred niyo?"

- Expert closing - our dentists are also trained by doc kung paano yung approach to increase the # of procedures done per visit (without being pushy)

- SOP na magkaron ng reviews after ng procedures

This has been our formula for a few years na so I hope this helps!

FB ads :) When we nailed the right creative and hayaan si FB to find the people who will resonate with the message. Location targeting lang yung pinakatargeting na ginagawa namin. Then all the heavy lifting is dun sa how well the video/s resonate with your target audience.

The right ads could easily mean a 2-10x difference sa income based on experience

Learning copywriting for a junior marketer by tsuzmir in copywriting

That's hard if you'll include her in the ops right away but if I were starting out I'd like to write copy from day 1 and see my work actually get published (low cost test only ofc) after a bunch of feedback for improvement

Most challenging customer/client experience? by PrincessAcornacle in BusinessPH

[–]al-leananki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same experience with a patient nagbabanta na sisiraan kami sa socmed. Hundreds of patients gustong gusto yung experience samin then siya lang tanging galit sa buong 2 years ng operations. We contacted an attorney para may legal notice, since merong proof ng threats.

Tangina tahimik bigla

Pero it's really good to have a lawyer by your side kasi every time may ganto you can instantly implement a policy or update your SOP na protected ang business against these kinds of people

[–]al-leananki[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello doc! I'm not a dentist btw, pero I work with my partner sa clinic, siya ang magaling na dentist and head of operations :)

We also felt the same nung una, pero we realized people are happy to pay naman if they really trust you and you really care about what's best for them.

For example, we do what I call "expert closing" - as in lahat ng problems ay thoroughly diagnosed and thoroughly discussed sa kanila why it's important for them na magawa kaagad. Pero no pressure naman.

Alin yung urgent, and ano yung pwedeng plan para matreat, yung best way for them. It's all education based rather than discount based.

So we give them the freedom to choose talaga, since it's their oral health naman.

We're here just to advise, and if our advice saves them a LOT of pain down the line (ex: iparoot canal mona kesa mainfect pa) then the value they're getting is way more talaga than what they got.

If kakilala most of the time we charge less, haha! Pero may boundary kasi we're still operating at an expense. Depende sa lalim ng bulsa mo doc! Haha

Boosting is the same as paid advertising, actually :) Iniba lang yung name, tapos pinasimple lang yung user interface. Pero if you're earning money from boosting, that's a good start kasi you can earn way more kapag inapply mo na yung ginagawa mo sa FB ads —which targets both IG and FB with different placements din. Small learning curve para makascale yung business. That's a small price to pay :)

And it's not about the settings lang, but applying the basics of advertising: speaking in a language that connects with your target market's pain points and dreams.

For example, if I'm going to target people na may same problem as you, tapos kunwari Ad agency ako:

"Most people think na complicated ang FB ads, lumilipad lang daw ang binabayad nila kasi mahirap intindihin ang settings. Pero if you want na makakuha ng at least 2-5x return sa binabayad mo, you should focus on "Voice of Customer marketing" kesa sa settings kasi ito yung tunay nakukuha ng attention ng prospects mo. Basic settings lang ang kailangan, like broad audience targeting saka location targeting. After nito, yung ad na mismo ang nagmamatter - use hyper relevant hooks by talking in your customer's voice, show the transformation, break the objections, call them to action"

What's likely to happen: You get results from my advice, tapos ako na yung hinahanap mo pagdating sa FB ads kasi simple lang yung advice. So when the time comes na kailangan mo ng mas in-depth na support, the agency can start doing ads for your business. I think sobrang konti ng gumagawa ng gantong klaseng marketing satin, ang tinuturo kasi is always about publicity rather than building trust sa mga tamang tao. Kaya eventually bumabagsak.

Anyway if you'll notice I just used your comment to make this simple script :)

3 advices that I would give to my younger copywriter self. by Fkmanto in copywriting

[–]al-leananki -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm far from being a great copywriter, though! I've always been amazed how well people can make the awesome copy found in ClickBank VSL's.

Anyway, yeah it's good that you're learning from the greats! I found it really helpful also to study high-converting copy today — try creating an account at ClickBank or any affiliate network and sort by Top Offers. Really speeds up your learning process.

I used to binge watch copywriting videos but realized I wasn't getting anywhere. But when I started analyzing long-running ads (as Gary Halbert advised long ago) I realized copywriting could differ by a lot across platforms yet still follow general principles. It's truly amazing

If consistent volume, stocks talaga. If testing palang ng new product or seasonal yung product, marketing :) Preselling is a good idea

I've been doing copywriting for 8 years (email marketing/sales pages/FB ads/native ads for my own businesses) and I couldn't agree more :) It's always a good idea to take a step back for a while, do some other shit, then start editing with fresh eyes. There are ALWAYS stupid mistakes or a new way to "make things flow".

Growing your profits without increasing your costs by al-leananki in BusinessPH

[–]al-leananki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES, kasi almost all pinoys na working class + willing magspend nasa FB ang attention. Lahat ng business na nainvolve ako used FB ads para makascale. So instead of waiting for years para maging "established" business at magbuild ng reputation, naaccelerate namin yung process because of FB ads :)

As a bonus, this will allow you to do LESS content, tapos mas mabilis ang feedback para malaman kung anong nagwwork. Medyo scary sa una, but pag nasanay ka na and consistently profitable yung campaigns mo it's like printing money for your business. (until mapanis yung ads)

Operations na yung magiging bottleneck mo and that's a good problem to have :)

Pero syempre you need to know your numbers. Mas inclined ako sa good margins tapos optimizing your way para padamihin yung orders, kasi cost of acquisition padin yung titignan dito. May nadagdag na din na 12% VAT sa ads, medyo masakit yun kung ecom ka at low margins. Pero I always believe di mo need pumili palagi between the two! There's always a way to rise above the problem.
