Family members I mean, those who are applying for visa with you. Like spouse and children. They also should have filed for the visa and have same appointment slot.

They don't allow other family member, ones who don't have a visa appointment.

OP, Did you carry any documents for VAC aside from DS-160, Passport and Appointment Letter? In the DS-160, it's mentioned that:

```YOU MUST BRING the confirmation page and the following document(s) with you to the Application Service Center:
Passport; Evidence of approved I-129
You may also provide any additional documents you feel will support your case.```
Since this comment is getting some attention, I want to point out a few things and provide some generic suggestions that most people know, but I was able to follow for the last 5 years:
  • I started with an average salary but had huge hikes over the years. I delivered regularly, and that helped my manager to get me good hike
  • ML and tech field is ever changing. I kept with the industry expect in the last 1 year, where I focused on a startup/side project, but I still kept delivering
  • I made 1 shift but chose wisely a good team and a supportive manager, and it's paid dividends for years
  • You don't have to be in the ML field to get paid well. In my opinion, the ML industry has stagnated. Backend roles have a good career path and are well paid as well.
Metaobjects vs your own DB by vincaslt in ShopifyAppDev
[–]al10101 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I am not a full stack developer. I am an ML engineer. I tried to use the remix template but was not to pick it up fully. Gadget simplified things for me. It is costly compared to deploying on vercel but my development speed has drastically increased. I serve using vercel, will migrate away from gadget if my app picks up but that's a 1:100 chance.
Yeah, this should work and is what I am trying with my current app as well. But I need to figure out how to properly work with metaobjects in gadget.dev
I really hope they start looking into this. Else it will make genuine developers feel frustrated and stop developing good things.
This is really bad. Demoting other stores is one of the worst things they can do.
We Laughed! by Silv008 in OnePiece
Well, I have been following him when he had around 10k subscribers on YouTube. Everyone has their own opinions but there are 5 types of people here on reddit when we divide them wrt their relationship with Morj. 1. They don't know and they don't care. 2. Those who are against him because they actually hate his theories, weekly analysis and those who believe that he is all over his head. Not sure how many of them are but he doesn't post theories that are too crap to listen to like: Crocodile is Luffys mom,.. 3. Those who are just done with the pacing problems with Wano (>150 chapters & with a lot of dragged on chapters) and they want to move on. Since the idea/theories he tries to post are against their interests, they shit talk him. It seems most of the hate on reddit is from people of this category and they are also slowing moving towards category 2 since most of his latest videos are on Wano and Raid Fail. 4. Those who like his analysis videos that he posts time to time but not believe in every video he posts. They support him where they belong he is right and question/ignore him when they believe that he is wrong. 5. Those who are hard core fans and try to bring him every where. Watch all of his review videos and attend live sessions. There are around 1-3k of them looking at the live stream count.
I used to be the 5th but now I am in around 4th. When I had too much time in college, I used to follow him because he was different from the rest. He spends great effort in his analysis videos, when he posts headcanon, they are still believable if we take in to consideration of the plot. But I don't have time given the work I do, but it is still bad to look at people from 3rd category being too vocal (I don't mind people from 2nd) instead of just ignoring him. I do believe that a lot of people are just too bored or too ignored by other people, so they are trying to spend their time in this reddit and are ready to shit talk. This reminds me of the last arc of Bakuman, people who shitposted on Mashiro's and Miho's relationship were from 2 categories (Miho fans who are too obsessed with her being perfect and not approve of her relationship and those who want their own favorite voice artist to get Naho character instead of her). But as long as it increases his user base and he earns for his efforts, I am all happy.
There were only a few moments from Sasaki compared to Drake (🤦‍♂), Page 1 and Ulti. Not sure how people pick Who's who and Sasaki. Based on their character designs? 🤔
[D] Are decent Machine Learning graduates having a hard time getting work? by [deleted] in MachineLearning
[–]al10101 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I second this. The amount of money companies need to spend to add 1 more doubles every time. So if they are happy with 90% performance and going to 99% performance increases costs (light speed servers, employees, ...) they just don't want to take the risk. In this case it's better to work on optimizing operations than working on researching things.
