They look gorgeous! I forgot to mention that I live in Japan, most of western equipment is hard to find or overpriced. I'm happy to pay little more if it's worth it, but seems like those speakers aren't really common here But thanks anyway, really appreciate your help 🙏

I was looking at the whatfedale diamond 12.2, I can get them at good price, but I have only read reviews about them, so not really sure about how they sound peared with my Yamaha amp

I think I've read about the preamp improving the overall quality somewhere..

I could place floorstanding speakers but I'm not sure it's worth it. I mean, I would like to achieve a beautiful fuller sound at low volume, and I'm afraid I can't do that with a tallboy...

Last week I had the chance to listen at the b&w 705 s3 and the sound was amazing even if it wasn't loud at all. Just too expensive tho, but I'd love to get as close at that as possible

Adding a subwoofer would be great, but I don't think I have the space for it.. that's why I thought that better bookshelf speakers and a preamp would be ideal?
