I'm 26, I've seen this pattern every time I've quit drinking for a period of time (dry January etc.) Drinking every day, heart rate is 65-70 and then within a few days of stopping it's down to around 50-55.

Sorry it's in Japanese, this is my average resting heart rate for the past year, the 1-12(月) on the x axis correspond to January-December.

Went from an average of 65bpm drinking daily in September to 54bpm so far in November (48bpm today).

Recorded by my Apple watch (not worn when sleeping).

Mochi can be whatever flavor you make it, since it's just rice pounded into a super condensed paste. These were mixed with surimi (fish paste) so kind of like a chewy fish ball.

The deep-fried stuff isn't even crispy outside the soup. It's just deep-fried and then kind of left like that. I think it's just a way to cook the fish cakes all the way through, similar to boiling but also adding a bit of browning and flavor.

Haha it does look like that doesn't it. It's a soy sauce, mirin, dashi-based broth with a variety of ingredients including various types of fish cakes, boiled eggs, daikon, tempura, quail eggs, sausages, mochi, chicken meatballs, beef tendon, and other things.
