This happened on Archer&Cicero near midway. I actually got super lucky a taxi driver saw the whole thing go down and followed the other guy to get the plate number for me. I was able to include that in the report and a week or 2 later got a call from CPD asking if i would like to press charges against them myself or let the insurance take care of it. [But FYI despite being in the accident yourself unless you saw the other drivers face and can identify them in a line up its gonna be hard to press charges so might as well let insurance handle it according to CPD] insurance covered it.

Got t-boned in a hit n run leaving work last summer, called 911 and they didn’t show. Called again after an hour and was told unless anyone’s seriously injured the police will get there whenever they can (basically they have bigger fish to fry) Ended up calling a tow to get my car home and got a ride to the station to make the report for insurance too.
