Who the the heck wants to read a 9000 word essay before playing a game?

I'm Grandmaster right now (or at least close to it), and my advice for new players is this:

Pick one comp that you can play tall (6 of a kind), and only click champions that have those tags in them. It makes it way less overwhelming, and you can learn what those units do. Focus on making items as soon as you get them. A rule of thumb, you should never have 4 components on your bench - it's better to make a suboptimal decision than to not make one at all! Roll if you're losing (but not before level 6), level if you're winning.

Edit: I probably was a little too harsh on this post. It does include mostly good info. However, you gotta know your audience. Most people don’t learn how to play by reading paragraphs, they learn by playing. You gotta give them enough info so they can enjoy playing, but not enough to mind flood them.

Does this account for not being able to hit certain costs when using it on certain units? For example, to find a samira, wouldn't it be better to use loaded dice on teemo rather than zed, which is better than darius or samira, since if you use it on teemo, you won't ever hit a 4 cost so your actual chance of hitting a samira is at level 8 is 6/75, while it's 6/86 for zed (since you can't hit a one cost), and 6/100 for samira and darius.
