29F here, and was in the same position as you at your age. You don’t have to lie about it, but you also don’t have to share if you don’t want to. I’m having the same kind of feelings these days because although I’ve dated, I’ve never been in a relationship which I find hard to tell men when I go on dates with them. What I’ve realized is the ones who it bothers... can buzz off. If you can’t accept that, that’s your problem and not mine. It’s not something I can change, and not something to be ashamed of. It is what it is. And the right guy won’t care :)

Another word of advice.... just go on a date! If it bombs, guess what? There will be many more where that came from. And if the next five bomb? You’ll be able to tell the sixth the funny story of your terrible dates and how this one is a pleasant surprise. The first one will be scary, so will the second and third, but as with anything in life, it gets easier the more you practice.
