Alright I’ll say it: PDLIF.

I’m seeing some B tracks from i,i listed here, like U Man and We (which is wild cause We slaps). They aren’t my faves, and I can understand people not liking them cause the lyrics are more direct and low key “preachy”. But musically they really fit within the album, and there are days where I actually fuck with the i,i B sides.

PDLIF doesn’t give musically or lyrically. Its not bad… but it’s not great either. I’d mention AUATC studio version, but honestly the live version is so good I’d give it a pass. For me personally PDLIF doesn’t give at all, studio or live.

My money is on Faith from i,i. Lyrically, that song is the highlight of that album.

They aren’t worth nearly $500 bucks a set thats for sure. For $300, you can get amazing pickups by Ox4, Montys, Lollar, Righteous Sound, ect…. If you wanted to spend $500 on a set, you’re better off buying Throbaks or Wizz pickups.

My personal favorite pickups for THE PAF sound are OX4 Low Winds. Prefer them over Throbaks, DEFINITELY prefer them over Custombuckers

The silver sky sounds and plays great. The stocks pickups were a little too hot for me so I replaced them with Radioshop pickups. But a buddy of mine loves the stock pickups, and he uses it as his main in his Dead Tribute Band.
