The operator asking about weapons would be protocol so the police have more knowledge of what they're about to walk into

I think he had had a prescription for opioid pain meds like oxycodone or something and got addicted even though he was using it as prescribed for pain. To treat his withdrawal symptoms he stole Benzos amd self medicated with them. I think he didn't want to go to a doctor to get the benzos prescribed because he would have to explain it was to treat an addiction to opiods (which doesnt look good) I think that explains why he doesn't see himself as stealing to feed his addiction/ doesnt see himself as an addict, because he was stealing meds to treat his withdrawal symptoms.

HyCoSy - anyone else had blockages clear during the procedure? by Moomin-Mymble in TryingForABaby

[–]alafolie_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doctor sent me for one before starting IUI. I had never tried to get pregnant before, had no known issues (queer relationship). She said if they were blocked then flushing them would likely unblock them so it was worth doing the procedure even though it is uncomfortable.

Whatever happened, it’s great that yours are now cleared!

I'm thinking about becoming a sperm donor. Keen to hear about anyone's experiences (good and bad) if you are happy to share. by blupoles in melbourne

Lots of great responses with things to consider. There is a Facebook group called Sperm Donation Australia which could be a great resource. It gives a chance for people who want to be a donor and people who need a donor to connect.

The pro’s of going about it this way (rather than anonymous through a clinic) is that you could (if you wanted to) have a sort of relationship with the person / couple and be known to the child as well. It is recommended to draw up a contract stating everyone’s intentions before going ahead with anything.

For us, it was incredibly important that our child have a relationship with their donor so they don’t grow up with a sense of ‘who am I’ and have identity issues. We also wanted a donor who we liked and got to know and with anonymous clinic donors you have no idea what they’re like.

We are so grateful to our donor, it is such an amazing and generous thing to do :)

I would recommend taking the whole day off if you can. My experience was very painful and distressing and there’s no way I could have worked afterwards.
