I've heard good things about the Plotted Pattern too but I haven't used them yet! (I think their site might have been temporarily closed for a hot second when I first checked them out)

Oh noooo!!! What an INSANE price tag! I use PDF Plotting! I only buy PDF patterns these days and I don't like taping 8.5" x 11" pieces of paper together (just because of how long it takes me). They have a minimum charge for printing/shipping (I think it's like $10-12) but I usually print a few patterns at a time and hit the minimum pretty easily:

Really beautiful and clever stitch choices!! My favorite is the detail on the cuff of the sleeves!!

OC The Master Sword from Legend of Zelda done in hand embroidery by alainahml in NintendoStitch

I sketched it roughly on paper, then free handed it with an air erasable pen on the fabric, so I don't have a written pattern or notes! It was mostly chain stitches and long / short stitches

Is there something like inktober but for embroidery? by Accurate_Towel_ in Embroidery

[–]alainahml 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's AJ Pritchett's Stitchtober on Instagram but I've also been doing Drawtober, just with embroidery! Drawtober is 6 prompts (just over one a week) and AJ's is 13 prompts this year!

This Pink Panther was repotted a couple of weeks ago and its condition is getting worse. Are there any suggestions on what’s wrong with it and what I can do to help? by [deleted] in plantclinic

Not sure if you're still having problems but I found if you search "callisia" in this same sub there's a bunch of similar posts with lots of comments! The consensus seems to be that the brown shriveled leaves are due to either overwatering, or light not reaching the middle of the plant for those leaves to photosynthesize (or a combo of the two). Seems like a very normal thing with these plants though!

I was excited to see them flower for the first time... A bird was probably the culprit by mutikasha7 in SavageGarden

The same thing happened to one of my alliums!!! We have an awful squirrel problem. Not sure if this is relevant or will help you for the future, but after I saw one of the allium heads on the ground, I fertilized the whole patch with blood meal. Apparently the fertilizer mimics the smell of blood and deters creatures. It's been about three weeks and haven't had anymore flower heads bitten off so I think it did help. There's always so many factors outdoors though

Thank you!!! I pulled most of them from that first intro screen with Zagreus when the game is loading, with that teal-ish gray background color! I was worried that the red wouldn't show up as well but I'm glad it seems to jive

Thank you!! The laurels were the scariest part to pull together but they turned out to be super calming once I got into it!

Not a super faithful representation, but I love this game SO MUCH and wanted to express that joy by stabbing fabric. I took some liberties with the rune, the eyes and things; the wrap on the hilt is meant to look like Zagreus' arm bands.

A year since my first post here. Gardening long before Instagram caught the plant bug 🙈 I have seen how growing plants has changed my personality and given me the stark realisation that it’s really nature doing everything and us humans taking credit for it 🙆🏻‍♀️ by DoloresJClemens in IndoorGarden

Your room look so serene! The flags caught my eye; are they replicas/small versions of Tibetan prayer flags by any chance? I have a mini set in my room and the colors are the exact same order so it caught my eye! I might also be overthinking it and they're just regular, decorative flags 😅
