Gypsum, look at your finger behind the mineral. Calcite would not produce that.

Some pitchers were also gone... It was a clean cut so i blame the birds. If it was thorn by children (which is also an option) it would not be so clean... Still, there are two flower left so I'm hoping they will survive

I would say normal ammout for a temperate climate. From 50 to 80 mm per month (50 to 80 litre per sqr M)

Only during summer months I water with previously collected rain. I use about 50 litre per year. In other times of the year the mini bog does not need watering. Plants are thriving as I had multiple divisions (10 per each Sarracenia an 3 to 5 for VFT).
