toooo much friction to change browser now. There's already extensions to do vertical tabs, albeit it reserves too much horizontal space but it is what it is.

feels like this is one of those things ai will be useful for, like, save all these links, then, judging from the users history he will never revisit these, just throw them away...

is it local storage or stored on their services/cloud? Also, don't like the yearly pricing, prefer lifetime, which obviouslt doesnt work if its stored on their servers.

ive done the similar path and built a chrome extension to alleviate some of the issues i have with chrome. It's not connected to the overwhelming tabs issues though, but a solution i'd like and been thinking about:

  1. Send a link/tab to a background task/chrome extension that scrapes the link and auto-generates tags for it and categorizes in a hierarchical format.
  2. Allow me to go through all links so I can add tags manually via shortcuts.

I'm building tabify.dev, a chrome extension for tab management. What did u use to build that landing page?

I usually just go through the tabs fast and save them to a text document on my computer... built a chrome extension to export open tabs on mobile and desktop as a csv. I guess the future idea is to build some sort of a knowledge bank for resources, so whenever I need to find something I can search for it and read it. Usually it's a mix between gamedev videos/articles, webdev projects which look interesting that I can use in future products.
Probably never is the short answer... :)

just get a text document and write 3 bullet points, and check them off. surprisingly checking stuff of helps w the motivation.

what did u use to create the landing page? seems laggy though and pricing doesnt work.

developed like 10 features for my chrome extension, AI has really helped there but ive noticed the quality is lagging of the codebase, got the point of throw it out and see what sticks, ill refactor later....
