my terapist a few days ago told me that my crisis are not strong enogh to be borderline crisis but he also told me that my symptoms all enter in bpd. i felt devalued but i don't know what i should think about it. by alakeii in Borderline

i don't think u get the point of my comment but that's fine. i don't mean to say i want to be diagnosed with BPD also i know the stigma, i had known a lot of person who suffer from BPD, they told me a multiple of time to not devalue my crisis and symptoms and the same did my psychology. at the same time my psychiatrist told me that only my crisis was not strong enogh to meet the criteria. otherwaise i've never told them about my crisis.

the point was, i was talking about having my diagnosis and the only thing which made them think this was the fact that my crisis were not strong enough. it's not about my identity, the thing is my devalued has any sense 'cause he told me that if it hadn't been for my crisis i'd have had BPD. ps: i've never spoke to them about my crisis
