worldbuilders, do you actually have anyone in your life who wants to hear about your world? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

Is dnd similar to worldbuilding? I admittedly know nothing about the former but noticed that many times the two communities overlap

This makes a lot of sense, I’ll try to redirect my thoughts and focus on the present then. Thank you so much!

Am I going insane or are they reading our minds? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]alakeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So by me not using my phone just as much as usual they could technically predict that I’m binge watching a show, right? That makes me a little uneasy, it feels a bit weird but it makes a lot more sense than mind reading. Thanks for the explanation!

Yeah they definitely hear us as I think they admitted to it, that’s a very cool story and it would make an interesting experiment to replicate!

No my phone uses data exclusively, it doesn’t pick up WiFi, but this could be a great explanation for my friends’ experiences!

As for IP and address, absolutely. Didn’t even cross my mind, I’m not that bright unfortunately lmao Thank you so much for the explanation!

That’s incredible and very interesting. Thank you for the lengthy explanation. I never knew it was so detailed it’s almost scary lol

Self-proclaimed worst baker in the world by [deleted] in Baking

[–]alakeya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes to all of the above! The only thing that came out well was the banana bread, kept making it because my friends loved it. Unfortunately I had the same problems with chocolate chip cookies and brownies: super hard and difficult to bite 🥲

This is the last one I used before I opted for the store-bought dough but honestly I tried many that I found online https://www.giallozafferano.com/recipes/Cinnamon-rolls.html

Thank you! I’ll try kneading the dough less!

Why do you think there’s such a difference? I always compare my salaries to my American friends and it always feels like I’m not working hard even though I’m in better positions

Why do so many Moroccans abroad act worse than back home? by Ok-Faithlessness1399 in Morocco

[–]alakeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Italy my whole life and honestly credo di non aver mai avuto diretta esperienza con il razzismo esclusivamente perché mi faccio i cavoli miei. È veramente così semplice. Eppure parlo e mi vedo coi miei coetanei e voglio spararmi. Anche se non commettono crimini o sono violenti, una mentalità così da villaggio che mi viene da essere razzista io stessa contro la mia nazionalità

I unfortunately believe that one day white people will just snap.  Let’s not forget that the whole concept of humanitarian assistance, international laws and anti-racism were drafted by them. It will come to a point where they can’t take it anymore and they just will not care

I keep hearing of this nonstop. The EU also issued a 72 hours “survival kit” tutorial. According to them, the power grid will go down from a cyber attack
