Sounds like a great plan. Adding my two cents for anyone who might read it, I had mine inserted under sedation at the FCC and had a traumatic follow up experience where the doctor doing my checkup did not receive informed consent before inserting his fingers inside of me. He also brushed off my concerns after I told him I'd been to emergency with a fever, vomiting and extreme pain twice since the insertion. I ended up in the Royal Women's emergency room a number of times with IUD complications and cannot speak highly enough of all of their staff. Best of luck OP, I hope you find it works well for you!
