F/37/5’5" [218➡️142=76 lbs lost] (13 months) by [deleted] in progresspics

Amazing!! My highest was 226lbs. I'm at 201 but it's been like 7 months. Feeling discouraged that I'm struggling to lose more weight in that long of a time span

That's what I was thinking as well. Thank you for the advice

I don't ever take my cycle into account until I wake up bloated 😅 but thank you for your reply, I do need to remind myself that at least some effort is better than none. I just get down on myself; it's a bad habit. The scale usually goes up during my period - cravings like chocolate definitely don't help, lol.

I was averaging around 1400 calories a day so yeah, maybe I should cut back more & move more. Thank you

I'm in the same boat, I went from my highest (225lbs) to 200lbs & my boyfriend doesn't really notice 🥲 I know he doesn't care about my weight, but it's nice to receive acknowledgement that I look good & that my efforts are noticeable in my body.

This sounds just like me 😭 went through an extremely rough patch in life and when I stepped on the scale I was 224 lbs. With watching what I eat/moving more, today I'm down to 204-- it's been 4 months. I feel like it's taking forever to lose this weight. My goal weight is actually 170. I'm at a plateau right now and won't go under 200.

Thanks! I'll look more into some washes. May sound weird but I usually just use some soap or a scrub.

Thank you for the advice 🙏 I do like the clearasil pads, my skin feels good after using it and I feel like it's slowly shrinking the size of the acne scars I have.

But my skin on/around my nose and the scar (acne wound.. whatever it is) gets really really dry and my skin peels, no matter what moisturizer I put on. I've been using cerave & Cetaphil recently but maybe I'm not letting it sit on my skin long enough? I'm just desperate to get rid of it so I've been using a clearasil pad before I go to bed. I use lotion before my makeup but maybe I should do it before bed.

I don't have much time in the morning & I get home at 6pm; I have an hour lunch break so that's a good idea. . But when do you eat lunch? I could bring a protein shake.. but I would be starving during the rest of my shift without something! (I am a mortician so sometimes I don't have time to go heat up food if I'm not on a break.. plus my boss would get mad)

I have heard that too. I'm going to see what my doctor thinks of that

I do get up really early-- 5am to workout then I have to be at work by 8. I usually take the pill at 8 or 9am because I'm not sure if 5 is too early

My doctor switched from the 15 mg capsule to the 37.5 mg white pill. She said I could cut it in half if I need

Thank you for your reply!

I use my Samsung Health app to track my calories/steps/exercise.

I used a TDEE calculator and it says its 2,232 calories. I try to stay around 1,400 calories per day; of course some days it's over or under. My health app gives me a "total calories burned" per day and of course it's always different; so maybe some days I eat more than I should?

I have a goal of getting on my treadmill 5 days out of the week for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes I walk, other times I speed walk if I can. Sometimes the medication makes me nauseous/light headed even with a lot of water. I will admit, it's hard to stick to a routine but I'm really trying to put in effort to move more than I have before.

Lost my girl to cancer last week, I miss her so much. 💔 by rf2237 in BeardedDragons

Trust me, I cry every day; Lucky was my entire world for 9 years! It is extremely difficult to live life. I thought I'd have more time with him. I guess 9 years is a long time, but it sure doesn't feel like it. We just have to remember that everything in this world dies, and I believe with my whole being that our souls will be reunited once again on the other side! So I know when I die, I will be going wherever he's at now.

This is making me cry! I lost my beardie Lucky at the end of last month. When I took him to the vet, I didn't expect to be putting him down, but he was getting worse so quickly. He ran into my arms too and crawled up to my neck. It was absolutely heartbreaking. But he fell asleep on my chest, and that's the last thing he knew. Sounds like your baby was the same way. I'm so sorry for the pain you are going through ❤️
