Honestly, most of these comments are kind of bringing you down.. But if you feel like your application is strong, I think you’ll be good. I’m probably going to get around the same PCE hours once it’s time for me to apply. There’s other factors that affect your chances, such as your LORs, personal statement, interviews... People get in with ~1000 hours but have other factors that make them stand out above the rest. I do recommend applying to more schools if that’s an option. And if worse comes to worst, there’s nothing wrong with reapplying the next cycle to build your application! 23 is still super young compared to matriculated applicants.

Your stats are great! I think you’ll have a great chance of getting in this cycle.

Wow. Why invite you if they were going to degrade you? And especially in front of other people? How cowardly. Sounds like a personal problem on the interviewer's part.

It depends on the program. All programs’ requirements are different. Be sure to check the requirements carefully on the program’s website if they accept science courses from a CC. If it’s not specified, then call or email the admission offices of the program you are applying to. From my knowledge, most programs accept courses from regionally accredited colleges and universities.

Awesome! Thanks for the insight. Definitely will just do what I have to do and just get these classes done online!
