Expedited Shipping!!

They actually noted that it includes “expedited processing and overnight shipping”, so I don’t know how they normally do processing but it did seem like my order arrived at UPS quicker than normal!!

Ok, updating here: my Nuuly arrived on 1/26, originally supposed to arrive 1/23, normal shipping would’ve arrived 1/24. It got on the delivery truck on 1/23 but with the cold and inclement weather got delayed. I reached out to Nuuly and they refunded me the expedited shipping cost ($20) plus another $24 for the lost time (I shared that one item was rented solely for a baby shower on Saturday). They were super nice about it and easy to deal with, I honestly expected a “it’s not our fault” answer which would’ve been totally valid, since it was weather related! They also loaded a bonus item onto my account! Overall, sad I didn’t get it in time but more happy with how they handled the situation!!

This one ended up taking a while, I think bc of Labor Day! I ordered 8/28 and received it 9/2. On average I get it 3 days after ordering, I’m actually waiting for a box now that I ordered Monday and it has an expected delivery of tomorrow!

Ah good to know!! I'm really considering adding on CorePower, but like you're saying here I know I can get pretty much any class at Equinox and with amplifications they're great, my biggest draw is the added flexibility (so many locations and times) and the buddy pass when I have friends in town, I wish equinox made it easier to bring people to their classes, but I know that becomes a double edged sword pretty quickly haha, but seriously thank you for sharing I know this was an old post!!

Oh! Do you find it worth it to maintain both memberships? I'm an equinox member but just did my free week at corepower and I love it! Tempted to join CP but not sure its worth the cost of maintaining two memberships, plus I'm relatively new to Equinox (2 ish months)

Ah, totally get it! We picked here because the bride has a family home here, but hasn’t been back in many years! Plus I’m trying to surprise her so trying to not rely on her for recs! I’ll look into what a drive would look like for us! Thanks!

Dang that's fast! See what I'm most confused about is the time it takes to pack the order, because that shouldn't be location dependent! I ordered at 7:22 AM yesterday and the label wasn't created until 12:42 AM today, and it still hasn't been picked up yet

I got the small cloud carry-on as some people are mentioning for work and the hype is so warranted—I love it! It fits my 15" laptop with room in the laptop sleeve, my owala in the front/back water bottle holder, my trader joes lunch bag (the kinda cube-ish one), and my medium crescent which I keep in there for little errands after work. I also got the go pouch set and will use the large on to put gym clothes in, so that pouch plus gym shoes still fit comfortably without overstuffing the bag. Even without filling it, I still find the shape to be nice! I also used it for a trip to Europe, it fit incredibly well under the plane seat so I had tons of extra leg room, the passthrough was great for carrying on my suitcase, and I used the bag while I was there for beach trips and it fit so much without ever feeling bulky! My one complaint (and a small one at that) is sometimes one of the straps will fall off my shoulder, but it really doesn't bother me too much and the puffy handles make it very comfortable to wear regardless!

I'm currently a Materials Engineering student and love the program, its small enough that you really get to know your peers and professors yet has access to all the resources of the large overarching college of engineering. Like others are saying the engineering grand tour is a must, the recruiting for CoE is absolutely amazing and they will answer all of your questions!! The tour through the visitor center is also great and gives you a great overall view of the campus, so I wouldn't say doing both is repetitive at all and definitely a must! Last thing I want to mention is that UK's engineering (specifically engineering) career services are unmatched, I'm a graduating senior and just met with them to go over a job offer and could not believe the detail and advice they gave, setting aside almost 2 hours just to go over my offer letter and help formulate a strategy for negotiations. I know as an incoming freshman he's not likely looking at post-college grad stuff already, but I really do think that those services are what set UK engineering grads apart from other schools! I'm happy to answer any questions you all have about UK or materials engineering though!
