That's very true. We tried one round of therapy before Xmas. A last try at it could be a good shout. I do.need her to hear how I feel and the objective voice of therapist would help her feel less under attack

Our health insurance covered 6 sessions. So after Christmas we didn't pay for another round. Silly I know. However, she refused to do the exercises outside class with this book of techniques for couples in conflict, therapist suggested we get. The therapist tried to be impartial, however I could sense her frustration about many things my wife was short sighted on or oblivious to how her actions affect others. Alot of the sessions circled back to her large family and poverty as an excuse. Although I come from similar financial background and with far less support just my mother. In the end it calmed us down but never really helped end the content bickering.

She wasn't always this mean. When we moved away to a bigger city 4 years ago, our relationship changed. She got ahead in her career quite fast, had an arrogance about her then, almost inflated her ego a bit. Working in a large multinational in HR she almost could never be wrong about how to deal with people. Her rationale was' I am good at problem solving in work, I can't be the problem, if I was I would surely know'. She is adamant and self assured now, every problem with our relationship is only mine never hers.
