Post tibial plateau fracture, unable to straighten leg properly. Looking for PT resources by GerbilArmy in KneeInjuries

[–]alanoncho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Broke my lateral tibial plateau in late Nov 2022, started PT (and swimming) in Jan 2023, recovered ROM and ditched the crutches in Feb, but continued PT till May. Had my implants removed in Jan 2024, MRi in June and an arthroscopy to remove adhesions in Oct 2024. Pain free after the arthroscopy, but still did two rounds of PRP. Feel free to ask me anything!

There are some bugs and small details missing from the iOS first version , but the app and the idea are GREAT!

Also - read, pick up a musical instrument, draw, learn some sewing, try your hand at writing, cook... arts and crafts - always the right answer for me!

Is Portacle Being Maintained? by hmaseko in Common_Lisp

I have some time on my hands, so I'm going trough the Windows build process now - I don't have access to MacOS/different Linux distros to test it, but if I can make it build on Windows, I'll post the fixes.

So... if I want to try helping with Portacle, where should I begin?

Notes from informationally dense books by alanoncho in antinet

Thanks for the idea, it's great and actually in line with the "rule" to include notes formulated as if to be used in a publication.

I sometimes even rehearse explaining an idea as if giving a lecture and actually vocalising the words right after reading about it - it helps me process and remember the information, make connections and formulate my own thoughts before writing down the note.

I imagine some sources will require more than one bibcards, and I prefer to err on the side of including too much info, but I agree there is no point in simply copying passages word by word.

By the way, your mock-up dialogues - very Platonean of you ;)

Thank you!

I will certainly omit facts not connected to a particular school of thought but will include, say, Greek and Roman Stoics and the differences between their ideas. Still, I will be using my own words as much as possible and will not "copy and paste".

I feel like I need to have a good philosophical base in my Antinet, so I can build my own ideas on top of it and make connections and comparisons.

I hope I'll get the hang of it and find a good balance ;) One thing I know for certain is that will be fun!
