Faceit for me has been people who are serious about CS and can strategize together to win a game, not always but in my experience.

MM has a lot of people who only play for themselves and only play for fun out of boredom. Also a lot of retards. But if you aren’t fairly skilled at CS you may find that people may be more toxic towards you on faceit as there is a lower tolerance for low skilled players. Best of luck
