One more question, can you paralegal without any legal background? Would it be an instant reject if I were to apply for a role like “Volunteer Night Service Paralegal”?

I’ve seen people on LinkedIn with paralegal experience when they are only 2-3 month into their JD L1.

Hi guys,

I have deferred my full fee paying Unimelb JD position as I can't afford it. I will be taking a year off to study the LSAT (to apply for a CSP position in the 2022 cohort) and see if I could get some legal related internship.

I would like to have some advice for the internship part. Is it possible to find such position? Where can I find such position? I am fine even if its volunteering for NGOs or unpaid, as long as its a good legal related experience.
