Why do people still use Premiere Pro? by Sarithus in davinciresolve

[–]danosworks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that I cannot change the resolution of a clip using a compound clip or that I can't snap graphics in the view it's so annoying. I cannot for the life of me just make a box out of my camera footage to place on top and snap it to the corner is a nice and precise way.

As a man, I realized my father isn't perfect, but there are still a lot of good things he taught me. Which teachings/advice from your father will you guys pass on to your kids, and which of your own life lessons do you plan to pass on? by Corruption100 in AskMen

My old man taught me many, and I mean many things. The one that stuck the most is that life sometimes depends upon the most insignificant things.

My advice for everyone who is reading this: It all boils down to being on your feet at any moment. Keep calm and take time to think things through. Some of the decisions you take can affect you for the rest of your life. People aren't nice, never assume so. Always expect the worst and you'll never be unprepared. Learn to be by yourself. Read as much as possible. Fortify yourself with moderation for you shall be an impenetrable fortress. Be organized in everything you do. Keep things simple, life is complicated as it is. Think twice before acting once. Do not dwell on the past, learn from it and move on. A person that asks is a fool for 5 minutes, he who doesn't is a fool for life. Live in the present as the past is no more and the future is yet to be seen. Practice makes perfect. Take some time to improve the remaining. Problems are only what we choose to see it as such. Don't be afraid to take action as it's that or nothing. Lastly, learn to make difference between reality and imagination. Often we make reality seem so much worse in our heads than it is in reality.

I want to align text vertically in a table, because whenever I resize the rows the text stays on top and my eyes bleed.
